The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, ELO CRF's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Valle came free, but Geovânio Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Renan Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovânio Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jairo Macedo had several of the ELO CRF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Geovânio Veloso as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd rose to their feet as Valdemar Valle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geovânio Veloso. That made the score 5-0 in the 21 minute of play. Henrique Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ELO CRF's zone, Jairo Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Veloso came out of the goal and Jairo Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Grêmio Prudente fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Grêmio Prudente's Valdemar Valle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ELO CRF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Valdemar Valle scored to the left of an out of position Geovânio Veloso, making the score, 7-0. Jairo Macedo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovânio Veloso. Geovânio Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar Valle in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovânio Veloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jairo Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Veloso having to interfere. Valdemar Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovânio Veloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdemar Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. If Valdemar Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the game, Jairo Macedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Geovânio Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ELO CRF's Geovânio Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Valle in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Jairo Macedo notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of ELO CRF's Geovânio Veloso. Geovânio Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simão Ortiz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's Valdemar Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovânio Veloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Grêmio Prudente's Valdemar Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovânio Veloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Jairo Macedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio Veloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes, Valdemar Valle made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. ELO CRF's Geovânio Veloso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 82nd play minutes Valdemar Valle shot 14-0, a short shot which went by Geovânio Veloso and just under the crossbar into goal. Valdemar Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Veloso having to interfere. Geovânio Veloso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Grêmio Prudente's Renan Alcântara shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 15-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Noel de Lima hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The supporters of Grêmio Prudente booed when ELO CRF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
