Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luiz Paulo Santos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Enéas Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wellington Leite fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pesqueira City's protests and gave Wellington Leite a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Wellington Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo Santos came free, but Enéas Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luiz Paulo Santos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Enéas Borges was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Enéas Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Santos in the 14th minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Santos hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes of play, MarquinhosEC's Luiz Fabiano da Cunha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enéas Borges was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Paulo Santos during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pesqueira City booed when MarquinhosEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Paulo Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Silas de Sousa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquim Ribeiro skillfully saved the ball. Marcos Boldrini hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Marcos Boldrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes Pesqueira City got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Leite. Enéas Borges came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by MarquinhosEC's Luiz Paulo Santos. But to his dismay, Luiz Paulo Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 38th minute, Marcos Boldrini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to MarquinhosEC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Marcos Boldrini hit a great ball. Enéas Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Neto in the 42nd minute of play. Joaquim Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Guimarães in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Ronaldo Guimarães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquim Ribeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Guimarães stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Paulo Santos got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 67 minutes into the game, Luiz Eduardo Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Joaquim Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luís Fabiano Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Enéas Borges made a huge save. Alfredo Loyola charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Loyola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Alfredo Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's Silas de Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Ribeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute Bebeto Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
