After 5 played minutes Agroboys SM - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Queirós. In the 10th match minute, Papunhas EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. When Renatinho Barreto fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papunhas EC's protests and gave Renatinho Barreto a yellow card for diving instead. Ruy Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frédson Rosa succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After 22 played minutes Papunhas EC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim da Fonseca. In the 23rd minute, Cauan Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Travassos came free, but Ruy Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruy Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 37 minutes, Cleiton Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleiton Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Agroboys SM - CIMZ booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitinho Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruy Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Hoffmann in the 41st minute.

After 51 minutes of play Papunhas EC's Renatinho Barreto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Renatinho Barreto hit a great ball. Ruy Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Hoffmann in the 61st minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Cauan Travassos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira. Ruy Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frederico Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ruy Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Papunhas EC's zone, Jardel Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy Oliveira came out of the goal and Jardel Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 played minutes Papunhas EC got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Cabral. After some careless play in the Papunhas EC defense, Cauan Travassos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruy Oliveira. The Papunhas EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruy Oliveira should have stopped the shot. Ruy Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Travassos in the 82nd minute of play. Cauan Travassos took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruy Oliveira. Ruy Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The supporters of Papunhas EC booed when Agroboys SM - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cléberson Munhoz hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Cleiton Medeiros hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute of the match, Gonçalo Vieira sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Franklin Esteves showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Agroboys SM - CIMZ had played much better football throughout.
