The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Xandinho Kane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the game, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Hugo Favoretto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilmar Brasil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 11 minutes, Diamantino Britto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Joinville - FSCMZ and the SE Tijolo 6 Furos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Britto. Gustavo Gustavson came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Wiliam Lucas. But to his dismay, Wiliam Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gustavo Gustavson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Lucas in the 26th minute of the match. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Gustavo Gustavson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Alagoano in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Guga Velasco hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Diamantino Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Luizão da Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SE Tijolo 6 Furos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Tyson Clarke got a free kick in the 41st minute. Nilmar Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas De la Cruz in the 44th minute of play. After the first half SE Tijolo 6 Furos were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wiliam Lucas to strike the kick off in the second half. When Bruno de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Joinville - FSCMZ's protests and gave Bruno de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Bruno de Senna. Xandinho Kane scored 2-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilmar Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tyson Clarke came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gustavo Gustavson could save by the left post. Nilmar Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xandinho Kane went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. SE Tijolo 6 Furos made a substitution. Silvinho de Souza replaced Wiliam Lucas. Diamantino Britto hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tyson Clarke came free, but Gustavo Gustavson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Tyson Clarke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Gustavson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Gustavson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 79 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Alagoano came free, but Gustavo Gustavson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Gustavo Gustavson made a huge save. Gustavo Gustavson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyson Clarke in the 85th minute of the match.
