Carlos Eduardo Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. EC Fragata's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Reginaldo Souto 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Wilian Souto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Carlos Eduardo Sena made a huge save. Carlos Eduardo Sena was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Reginaldo Souto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Reginaldo Souto really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After some careless play in the EC Fragata defense, Wilian Souto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Eduardo Sena. The EC Fragata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Eduardo Sena should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, EC Fragata's Zézinho Trigo got a free kick in the 38th minute. Carlos Eduardo Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Tortuga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Paiva came free, but Caio Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diogo Trigo charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogo Trigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reginaldo Souto to make the kick off. The tension between the Tortuga FC and the EC Fragata players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zézinho Trigo took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caio Moreno. Caio Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Tortuga FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
