Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dinei Medeiros hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Luizinho Furlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portuguesa the free kick. In the 15th minute, Luizinho Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betinho Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Porto having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Valdo Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portuguesa's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdo Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruy Goiano came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's Luiz Guilherme Félix. But to his dismay, Luiz Guilherme Félix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Sidnei Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrézinho Porto. BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sidnei Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 27th minute of the match, Betinho Severo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andrézinho Porto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sidnei Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Severo in the 29th minute of play forced BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's goalkeeper Andrézinho Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's Andrézinho Porto got control of the ball when Sidnei Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sidnei Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sidnei Faria came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andrézinho Porto could save by the left post. Sidnei Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Porto having to interfere. Rômulo Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Portuguesa's Sidnei Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andrézinho Porto came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Portuguesa's Sidnei Faria. But to his dismay, Sidnei Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 45 minutes, André Luís Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF and the Portuguesa players grew even worse after the yellow card. André Luís Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Jano Berger made a great header on Portuguesa's corner, it was just that BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's Andrézinho Porto managed to reach the ball for a save.

53 minutes into the match, Portuguesa's Betinho Severo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrézinho Porto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute Sidnei Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidnei Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrézinho Porto having to make a save. 69 minutes into the match, Sidnei Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrézinho Porto. BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sidnei Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After some careless play in the BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF defense, Sidnei Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrézinho Porto. The BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrézinho Porto should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Isaltino Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portuguesa's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sidnei Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's zone, Juarês Maranhense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrézinho Porto came out of the goal and Juarês Maranhense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrézinho Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Faria in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Portuguesa were awarded a corner. Jano Berger went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jano Berger almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's Andrézinho Porto did a great save. Dinei Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinei Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Dinei Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Portuguesa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
