Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Caio Barral kicked off to start the match. Portuguesa's Ruy Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Barral in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Tostão Pernambucano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruy Goiano. Portuguesa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tostão Pernambucano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Régis de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Caio Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruy Goiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caio Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. Wanderson Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Goiano having to interfere. Ruy Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Barral in the 12th minute of play. Ruy Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Pernambucano in the 14th minute of the match. Régis de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Goiano having to interfere. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Caio Barral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ruy Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis de Andrade in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Tostão Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Rui de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruy Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ruy Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Pernambucano in the 35th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Tostão Pernambucano notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Portuguesa's Ruy Goiano. Ruy Goiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wanderson Cruz hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After the first half Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sidnei Faria to strike the kick off in the second half. Cléberson Damião hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Tostão Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Goiano having to interfere. Ruy Goiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Régis de Andrade in the 57th minute. Rui de Sousa scored 0-4 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruy Goiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caio Barral in the 70th minute. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Caio Barral sped through Portuguesa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruy Goiano. A collision led to Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Beto Cavalcante hit a great ball. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- played a much better game than Portuguesa and deserved their victory. The Portuguesa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
