An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar de Amaral in the 32nd minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Denílson Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar de Amaral in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jurassic Monsters SA's Sérgio Grandi got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Aírton Bezerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jurassic Monsters SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Guga Paes fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jurassic Monsters SA's protests and gave Guga Paes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jurassic Monsters SA getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Guga Paes hit a great ball. Valdemar de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Toro Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denílson Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toro Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Grêmio Esportivo 20 Julho's Gil Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Penha in the 70th minute of play. Valdo Macedo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Valdemar de Amaral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Denílson Azevedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valdemar de Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Denílson Azevedo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Esportivo 20 Julho's Téo Pires got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Valdemar de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Grêmio Esportivo 20 Julho's Valdemar de Amaral in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
