An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Machado in the 11th minute of play forced ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Mazinho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nildo Saldanha was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Dal 3ello's zone, Pedro Passos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Tepedino came out of the goal and Pedro Passos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Valadares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mazinho Lira. That made the score 3-1 in the 54 minute of play. Cristian Penha was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Dal 3ello's João Francisco Toscano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mazinho Lira. If Nildo Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mazinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jonas Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Mazinho Lira made a huge save. Angelo Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
