Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dino Tavares took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 6 minutes of play, Nova Venécia-ES's Dino Tavares made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Sanches came free, but Narciso Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nova Venécia-ES's Robinho de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Falcão in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nova Venécia-ES's Carlos Eduardo Sanches got a free kick in the 15th minute. Narciso Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, October 04's Tomé Macedo got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário de Salles in the 20th minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Narciso Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Tavares in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Alcântara in the 23rd minute of play forced Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Robinho de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Tomé Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Robinho de Salles made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Aparecido in the 32nd minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Narciso Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Sanches in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Wilian Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the October 04 and the Nova Venécia-ES players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes October 04 got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Alcântara. October 04's Tomé Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Tomé Macedo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Nova Venécia-ES's Robinho de Salles. Robinho de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Dino Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Dário de Salles notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of October 04's Narciso Guimarães. Narciso Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Rezende to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match Wilian Alcântara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robinho de Salles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Nova Venécia-ES's Dário de Salles in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye October 04's goalie prevented a goal. When Jano Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nova Venécia-ES's protests and gave Jano Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. Jano Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Wilian Alcântara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robinho de Salles skillfully saved the ball. Angelo Barbosa's late challenge caught a Nova Venécia-ES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Angelo Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Aparecido in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Mário Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário de Salles in the 82nd minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Narciso Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho de Salles having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Sanches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Narciso Guimarães made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nova Venécia-ES had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
