Rasgun Cool started the match with the kick off. Marcelo Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Ramón Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovânio de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Guerra in the 7th minute of play. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Geovânio de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Guerra in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute Ramón Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Guadalupe FC got a freekick which was hit by Mala Riaño. Geovânio de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasgun Cool, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Guilherme Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ragnar Thor kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Strong Onofre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guadalupe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Strong Onofre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 minutes of play, Guadalupe FC's Rasgun Cool made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovânio de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guadalupe FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Messias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Guadalupe FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guilherme Peres took the corner. Silvinho Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Peres in the 38th minute. Geovânio de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Arantes in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Guilherme Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Barcellos Mineiro FC defense, Pedro Arantes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovânio de Medeiros. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovânio de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. After 48 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Messias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Guerra in the 49th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Geovânio de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 50th minute Guadalupe FC were awarded a corner. Strong Onofre went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Strong Onofre almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barcellos Mineiro FC's Geovânio de Medeiros did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrézinho Messias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Nilson da Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcellos Mineiro FC and the Guadalupe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Geovânio de Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rasgun Cool in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Guadalupe FC booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio Meirelles's late challenge caught a Barcellos Mineiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basílio Meirelles helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Guadalupe FC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Meirelles. In the 67th minute of the match Guilherme Peres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvinho Messias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mala Riaño was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when Guadalupe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mala Riaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrézinho Messias came free, but Silvinho Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guadalupe FC's Rasgun Cool got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvinho Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Vianna in the 78th minute of the match. Maicon da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Geovânio de Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rasgun Cool in the 84th minute. Rasgun Cool struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Geovânio de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guadalupe FC. 88 minutes into the match, Guilherme Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvinho Messias. Guadalupe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ragnar Thor during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 97 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Thor. Strong Onofre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Guadalupe FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Barcellos Mineiro FC side.
