Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) João Pirani made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Maria got free with Alfredo Paraibano in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 5 played minutes Angelo Maria rounded FÊNIX F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Alfredo Paraibano came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani. But to his dismay, João Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when João Pirani came free, but Alfredo Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nelsinho de Souza fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FÊNIX F.C.'s protests and gave Nelsinho de Souza a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vascogoianiense FC booed when FÊNIX F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vascogoianiense FC's Angelo Maria shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alfredo Paraibano but with some difficulty. FÊNIX F.C.'s Alfredo Paraibano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FÊNIX F.C. from getting a goal against them. João Pirani scored 3-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Paraibano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 26 minutes, Ezequiel Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vascogoianiense FC and the FÊNIX F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. 25 minutes into the game, one of Vascogoianiense FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for FÊNIX F.C.. Bengt Bouchard stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Robert Steffens. 3-1. Alfredo Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute of the match, João Pirani tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfredo Paraibano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The attack was good, but when João Pirani in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 35th minute Mauro Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Steffens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Paraibano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Carlos Soeiro in the 41st minute. After 44 played minutes FÊNIX F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mané Nóbrega. Angelo Maria succeeded in the game's 46th minute to get real power on a long shot . FÊNIX F.C.'s Alfredo Paraibano hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 4-1!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt Bouchard made a kick off. FÊNIX F.C.'s Alfredo Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Maria in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pirani in the 52nd minute of play forced FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Alfredo Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, FÊNIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when João Pirani came free, but Alfredo Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pirani in the 57th minute of play forced FÊNIX F.C.'s goalkeeper Alfredo Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Angelo Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Paraibano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Robert Steffens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt Bouchard. A collision led to FÊNIX F.C. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nelsinho de Souza hit a great ball. FÊNIX F.C. made a substitution. Gugu Alcântara replaced Rômulo Sampaio. FÊNIX F.C. made a substitution. Armando Berger replaced Sandrinho Vidal. In the 68th match minute, FÊNIX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho de Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, João Pirani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Paraibano was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. If Matheus Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Paraibano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Vergílio in the 89th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Robert Steffens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adalberto Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Robert Steffens made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Bengt Bouchard sent off a good shot on target. During the 95th minute of the match Ezequiel Lara completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ezequiel Lara a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
