Tomás Paraense's late challenge caught a América-SC F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. América-SC F.C.:s Armandinho Medeiros showed great skill when he stopped Jude Belling:s penalty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 93rd match minute, Bizard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Mamais to maneuver through the defense. The América-SC F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bizard FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bizard FC.
