If Zézinho Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudinei Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Rossi in the 8th minute of the match. Rogério Soberano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emanuel Salgado. Zézinho Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claudinei Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Vargas in the 23rd minute of the match. Tiago Gabriel Fernandes's late challenge caught a 27 de Mayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But to his dismay, Zézinho Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Claudinei Favoretto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinei Tasso's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute Zézinho Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lionel Messis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rogério Soberano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinei Tasso to strike the kick off in the second half. If Claudinei Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei Favoretto made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Zézinho Rossi sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Zézinho Rossi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudinei Favoretto. That made the score 0-4 in the 61 minute of play. 27 de Mayo's Hélder Severo was substituted for Bebeto Branco. 27 de Mayo's Jarne Vrancken was substituted for Zézinho Rossi. Ponce Cruzado looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Claudinei Favoretto. 91 minutes into the match, Suição United's goal looked a bit too open when Jarne Vrancken came free, but Claudinei Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Claudinei Favoretto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Erramu Chute could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Claudinei Favoretto made a huge save.
