Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Durvalino Carneiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Paranaense got free with Virgílio Freitas in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Virgílio Freitas got control of the ball when Walmyr Meira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Yuri Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Walmyr Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espigão Steamrollers's supporters rose to their feet, but Walmyr Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgílio Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Yuri Paranaense 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Durvalino Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espigão Steamrollers's supporters rose to their feet, but Durvalino Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgílio Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute Yuri Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Anderson Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naldo Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 47th play minutes Antônio Carlos Baiano shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Dênis Paulista and just under the crossbar into goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

José Paulo Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Walmyr Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Freitas having to interfere. Virgílio Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Paranaense in the 57th minute of play. Dênis Paulista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Gustavo Koehler in the 58th minute. The supporters of Espigão Steamrollers booed when ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgílio Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Duarte in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Marcus Cardoso got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Pedro Duarte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgílio Freitas skillfully saved the ball. In the 73rd minute Durvalino Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79thth minute of the game Wanderson Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espigão Steamrollers's Dênis Paulista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgílio Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When José Paulo Saraiva fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s protests and gave José Paulo Saraiva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Antônio Carlos Baiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Antônio Carlos Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Paulista having to interfere. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Espigão Steamrollers's much stronger midfield.
