Raphael Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Garro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Balada came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruy Cearense could save by the left post. Rodrigo Garro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Mundial EC's Amílton Munhoz pulled a muscle in his leg after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mundial EC made a substitution. Tomás Senna replaced Amílton Munhoz. The supporters of Mundial EC booed when BEST FABIO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mundial EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Will de Backer in the 22nd minute. After taking down the ball on Mundial EC's corner Will de Backer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruy Cearense quite easily take care of the ball. After 26 played minutes Tomás Senna rounded BEST FABIO F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. A collision led to Mundial EC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Remo Aguiar hit a great ball. Juan Couto was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BEST FABIO F.C.! The goalkeeper, Ruy Cearense, was totally fooled by Mundial EC's Nils Bengtsson, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Tarcisio da Mata got a free kick in the 37th minute. André Balada charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Balada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BEST FABIO F.C. booed when Mundial EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Balada didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Will de Backer fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mundial EC's protests and gave Will de Backer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mundial EC's Will de Backer got a free kick in the 47th minute. Mundial EC's Raphael Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Tinoco in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Senna made a kick off. When Mundial EC's Tomás Senna in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ruy Cearense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruy Cearense came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Mundial EC's André Balada. But to his dismay, André Balada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When Mundial EC's Tomás Senna in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Saba in the 67th minute of play forced Mundial EC's goalkeeper Raphael Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Bengtsson in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Cearense saved BEST FABIO F.C. from getting behind. Arthur Saba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Penha having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Mundial EC got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Pontes. In the 84thth minute of the game Tomás Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEST FABIO F.C.'s Ruy Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruy Cearense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Senna's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After 88 minutes, André Balada made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Ruy Cearense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomás Senna took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruy Cearense. Ruy Cearense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Nils Bengtsson kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
