After having played for 10 minutes, Walmir Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merusca F&P's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmir Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Merusca F&P booed when Atlético da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walmir Pontes got free with Cléberson Seco in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walmir Pontes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. Leopoldo de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Atlético da Colina's Cléberson Seco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético da Colina from getting a goal against them. After 47 minutes of play, Merusca F&P's Walmir Pontes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Merusca F&P's Claudinho Sá quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guga Vides, made in the 52nd minute of the game. After 55 minutes, Walmir Pontes made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético da Colina's Cléberson Seco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60thth minute of the game Chico Bastos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merusca F&P's Franz Dubosq was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Pontes in the 62nd minute of play forced Atlético da Colina's goalkeeper Cléberson Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Walmir Pontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cléberson Seco. Atlético da Colina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmir Pontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Merusca F&P made a substitution. Dorian do Vale replaced Walmir Pontes. The supporters of Merusca F&P booed when Atlético da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guga Vides charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guga Vides the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zuriel Levinson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Dorian do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Merusca F&P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Massa to maneuver through the defense. Franz Dubosq made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Chico Bastos sent off a good shot on target. Merusca F&P's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorian do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cléberson Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Dorian do Vale made a precise shot to the right of Cléberson Seco. Atlético da Colina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After a rather tough play, Atlético da Colina's Guga Vides got a free kick in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Merusca F&P fully deserved thier win.
