Jacobo Herauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Guido Weather made a huge save. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blackened's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauricio Erasto was slow to take the kick. During this time Unidad de Matanza's players had a chance to rest. Mauricio Erasto made a great header on Unidad de Matanza's corner, it was just that Blackened's Guido Weather managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Unidad de Matanza's Wilfredo Umbruso got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Benigno Loren made a precise shot to the right of Guido Weather. Blackened's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Santos Borre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guido Weather. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Benigno Loren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blackened's Guido Weather was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jacobo Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unidad de Matanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Herauso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Weather breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when Blackened was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Aznaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Blackened's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Borre came free, but Guido Weather reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Unidad de Matanza got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Domenec. In the 32nd minute of the match Eloy Aznaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregorio Garikoitz skillfully saved the ball. Bartolo Restu struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gregorio Garikoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blackened. When Melchor Theodore fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unidad de Matanza's protests and gave Melchor Theodore a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Melchor Theodore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes, Blackened's Leonel Baladi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gregorio Garikoitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blackened reached it. Gregorio Garikoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Rafel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Damian Rafel notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Unidad de Matanza's Gregorio Garikoitz. Gregorio Garikoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damian Rafel kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Rafel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Jacobo Herauso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blackened's Guido Weather was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Benigno Loren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guido Weather was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Guido Weather showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Herauso in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Jacobo Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Weather saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Weather made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Herauso in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benigno Loren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guido Weather was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Borre in the 68th minute of play forced Blackened's goalkeeper Guido Weather to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Unidad de Matanza getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Adolfo Reyes hit a great ball. Blackened's Bartolo Restu got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregorio Garikoitz made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Damian Rafel sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Pello to maneuver through the defense. Guido Weather showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Borre, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 90th minute, Benigno Loren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Weather was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 94th minute, Jacobo Herauso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unidad de Matanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Blackened players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Unidad de Matanza.
