Eliseo Tiniebra kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Guido Oriol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gustavo Teofilio came out and tried to block the shot, but Guido Oriol slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Franco in the 15th minute of play. Gustavo Teofilio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elias Chap showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Alvarez during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when Gladiadores Legionarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Everardo Tavio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Teofilio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Gaudencio Sindo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gustavo Teofilio. The goal made the score 3-0. AC LeX Luthor's Elias Chap got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Gustavo Teofilio managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when AC LeX Luthor's Guido Oriol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Franco made a kick off. A collision led to AC LeX Luthor getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jose Garikoitz hit a great ball. When AC LeX Luthor's Guido Oriol in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gladiadores Legionarios's goalie prevented a goal. The Gladiadores Legionarios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Teofilio should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Chap in the 69th minute of play forced Gladiadores Legionarios's goalkeeper Gustavo Teofilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when Gladiadores Legionarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Pepillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Teofilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Oriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Teofilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Oriol, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gladiadores Legionarios's Raul Dunixi was substituted for Leandro Franco. Gustavo Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Tavio in the 82nd minute of the match. Guido Oriol took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Teofilio. Gustavo Teofilio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Guido Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Guido Oriol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Teofilio was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Gustavo Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Oriol in the 91st minute of the match.
