The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Urritz during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Julian Urritz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Gaspar Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Kiliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Retorno de Palermo's Anibal Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Francho in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Saul Francho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Egoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Florencio Patrido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florencio Patrido struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Nicolas Kiliz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Retorno de Palermo. In the 29thth minute of the game Saul Francho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Retorno de Palermo's Anibal Egoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute Natalio Nabar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Kiliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Julian Urritz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Patrido in the 41st minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Nicolas Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Francho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Natalio Nabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nicolas Kiliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Kiliz came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by El Retorno de Palermo's Florencio Patrido. But to his dismay, Florencio Patrido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Danilo Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Patrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Paulo Arnau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Alberto Walme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Urritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Kiliz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Afonso in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Patrido came free, but Nicolas Kiliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nicolas Kiliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute of the match, Florencio Patrido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicolas Kiliz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
