Julio Banegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Pereyra having to interfere. Eduardo Pereyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Mirande in the 11th minute of the match. Damaso Nuno hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The supporters of CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 booed when Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Panfilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anacleto Maju hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ricardo Panfilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Panfilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Pereyra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th match minute, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Eguzki to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Panfilo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Pereyra was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Eduardo Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Panfilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Julio Banegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ricardo Panfilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Eduardo Pereyra made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Godofredo Txanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Mario Mirande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 to leave the ground with a draw.
