Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Jerico started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Gimenez in the 5th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Santiago Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 played minutes Mainumby got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Santxol. Santiago Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mainumby's Santiago Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Gimenez in the 14th minute of play. Santiago Gau came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Gaviotas FC's Baldomiro Oliverios. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Oliverios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mainumby's Santiago Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Gimenez in the 21st minute of play. Benigno Ilazki hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, Gaviotas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Naelio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Oliverios in the 37th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Santiago Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Santxol to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mainumby's Candido Cugat was substituted for Amadeo Olivar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaac Urtungo made a kick off. Eusebio Fiz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Santiago Gau acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabricio Jakobe. In the 57th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Omero to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Oliverios came free, but Santiago Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaviotas FC's Ildefonso Ortle was substituted for Baldomiro Oliverios. In the 65th minute, Gaviotas FC's Jaime Jerico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The supporters of Mainumby booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Naelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Ortle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santiago Gau. Ildefonso Ortle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Isaac Urtungo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Pedro Asur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mainumby. Santiago Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Jerico, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Esteve Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Gau having to interfere. Mainumby's Santiago Gau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Mainumby from getting a goal against them. When Sebastian Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gaviotas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Gimenez couldn't finish the play. Santiago Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Ortle in the 91st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Jerico got free with Santiago Gau in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Gaviotas FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mainumby.
