Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elano Virgin started the match with the kick off. Dogo Argentino's Severino Seber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Dogo Argentino from getting a goal against them. Edgardo Gonzalez's late challenge caught a Dogo Argentino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Gonzalez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Libertad FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Edgardo Gonzalez hit a great ball. Severino Seber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Montxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 12 played minutes Dogo Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Cheche. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Egoi in the 15th minute of play forced Dogo Argentino's goalkeeper Severino Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Dogo Argentino's goalkeeper Severino Seber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Montxo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Cisco during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Severino Seber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Orzaize, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Seber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Orzaize in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Egoi in the 40th minute of play forced Dogo Argentino's goalkeeper Severino Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Dogo Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Errolan to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Cloyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Dogo Argentino's zone, Robustiano Orzaize stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Seber came out of the goal and Robustiano Orzaize tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robustiano Orzaize blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Seber having to make a save. Libertad FC's Pascual Montxo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dogo Argentino's Cristo Cheche got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Zeledon Cloyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Libertad FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Cloyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Seber came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Libertad FC's Pascual Montxo. But to his dismay, Pascual Montxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Juan Fraco charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Fraco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juan Fraco hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Elano Virgin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dogo Argentino's Elano Virgin got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Cosme Egoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes Dogo Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Hector Pello. Dogo Argentino's Severino Seber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Orzaize in the 98th minute of play. Libertad FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
