A hard shot by Carolo Estefan from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Mauro Cordearo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience was convinced that Nikša Posavec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Cordearo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Nikša Posavec took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mauro Cordearo to make any attempt to save it. 41 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Mauro Cordearo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Conrao. Mauro Cordearo was a little too slow when Laureano Conrao got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. The audience was convinced that Nikša Posavec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Cordearo was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikša Posavec made a kick off. Nikša Posavec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Cordearo having to interfere. Putin Club - OFF's Nikša Posavec got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikša Posavec in the 62nd minute of play. The referee gave Fermin Aznar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Fermin Aznar got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Nikša Posavec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the match, Laureano Conrao notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo. Mauro Cordearo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Putin Club - OFF booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Chucho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Putin Club - OFF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
