An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Velasco in the 10th minute of play forced Spams's goalkeeper Maximino Urtsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adam Bareiro sped through Curumalán AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Justo Roldanillo. Curumalán AFC's Justo Roldanillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Bareiro in the 15th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Astrada. After some careless play in the Curumalán AFC defense, Adam Bareiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Roldanillo. The Curumalán AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Roldanillo should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Curumalán AFC's Alan Velasco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximino Urtsin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amancio Feliu scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justo Roldanillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Spams made a substitution. Andrej Kramarić replaced Gaspar Pacho. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herminio Escobar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Spams's Leonardo Indalecio got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrej Kramarić got free with Justo Roldanillo in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amancio Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Gorosti in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Urtsin saved Spams from getting behind. When Alan Velasco fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curumalán AFC's protests and gave Alan Velasco a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Escobar in the 67th minute of play forced Curumalán AFC's goalkeeper Justo Roldanillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Spams's Herminio Escobar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justo Roldanillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 84th play minute Herminio Escobar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Justo Roldanillo. 0-7. After some careless play in the Curumalán AFC defense, Herminio Escobar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Roldanillo. The Curumalán AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Roldanillo should have stopped the shot. Herminio Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Escobar struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Justo Roldanillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spams. After 97 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alan Velasco.
