Aristides Ihazintu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lion Messi's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ambrosio Gar hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Adrian Martinez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristides Ihazintu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lion Messi charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
