Cosme Chan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Ramone, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Edu Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Baldomiro Martxot's shot from long distance in the 12th minute was not bad at all, but Piquirenda FC's Gregorio Sugar knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. When Paulo Erdiano came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Piquirenda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Erdiano couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Defensores del Tiki Tiki booed when Piquirenda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Erdiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Ramone struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Cosme Chan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piquirenda FC.
