With his leg Armando Unax managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Manantiales Fc's Juan Riquelme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Armando Unax made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Juan Riquelme sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Honorio Pierres was slow to take the kick. During this time Manantiales Fc's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Manantiales Fc's Denis Dolfos got a free kick in the 12th minute. A hard shot 18 in the game by Juan Riquelme from a close distance when the talented Armando Unax managed to make a qualified save. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Cabezon in the 21st minute of play forced Manantiales Fc's goalkeeper Severo Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Manantiales Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Cabezon came free, but Severo Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Manantiales Fc booed when Los Hijos de Doña Beija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gar Chadov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severo Roderigo came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Romulo Lluc. But to his dismay, Romulo Lluc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 43 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Indartsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manantiales Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Hijos de Doña Beija the free kick. After 43 played minutes Manantiales Fc got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Indartsu. The Manantiales Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Hijos de Doña Beija were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnino Curcio made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Armando Unax, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Juan Riquelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Armando Unax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Riquelme in the 53rd minute of play. Severo Roderigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Lluc in the 54th minute. Romulo Lluc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Severo Roderigo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Manantiales Fc's Modesto Ignado got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute, Nestor Bernat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Riquelme's late challenge caught a Los Hijos de Doña Beija's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Riquelme helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Manantiales Fc's Juan Riquelme got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 79 played minutes Manantiales Fc got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Ignado. After a rather tough play, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Nestor Bernat got a free kick in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Curcio in the 83rd minute of play forced Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Armando Unax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Hijos de Doña Beija's zone, Juan Riquelme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Unax came out of the goal and Juan Riquelme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Modesto Ignado fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manantiales Fc's protests and gave Modesto Ignado a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Hijos de Doña Beija booed when Manantiales Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Ignado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Hijos de Doña Beija walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
