Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Armando Unax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Maidana in the 42nd minute of play. Pedro Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Lluc in the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dale Cabezon was the one to do the kick off. Dale Cabezon's late challenge caught a Soroca F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dale Cabezon helped the player get up and apologised. Dale Cabezon kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Atilano Maidana ran back to his position shaking his head. Armando Unax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Heriberto in the 80th minute of play. The corner ended in Marciano Obeko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Armando Unax did a great save. Zacarias Nazario kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 88th play minutes Atilano Maidana shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Armando Unax and just under the crossbar into goal. Armando Unax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Playo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Hijos de Doña Beija players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Soroca F.C..
