Marcos Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Indalecio in the 15th minute of the match. With a little luck, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Marcos Xabel got control of the ball when Oscar Mas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Ivan Indalecio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teodelina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Resurrección Diabólica Ψ the free kick. A collision led to Teodelina FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ivan Indalecio hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Alberto Mota left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Resurrección Diabólica Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 23 minutes, Serafin Bortzaioriz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resurrección Diabólica Ψ and the Teodelina FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Vicente Ganix in the 24th minute really tested Marcos Xabel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Humberto Remicio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teodelina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Remicio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodelina FC's Alvaro Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Tono in the 38th minute of play. Alvaro Mateus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Mas made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Tono came free, but Alvaro Mateus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Resurrección Diabólica Ψ booed when Teodelina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Rayman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Ivan Indalecio put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Teodelina FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Teodelina FC:s Alvaro Mateus showed great skill when he stopped Severo Tono:s penalty. 62 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Tono came free, but Alvaro Mateus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match Resurrección Diabólica Ψ got a corner. Teodelina FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaston Mendebal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Teodelina FC's goalie and right to Usain Lucifer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Teodelina FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Tono in the 65th minute of play forced Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Mateus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Teodelina FC's zone, Severo Tono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Mateus came out of the goal and Severo Tono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute of the match, Alberto Mota tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alvaro Mateus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 79th match minute, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Mendebal to maneuver through the defense. Teodelina FC's Alvaro Mateus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Teodelina FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel-Omar Lucifer got free with Alvaro Mateus in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvaro Mateus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Aliuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel-Omar Lucifer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvaro Mateus was a little too slow when Alberto Mota got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 92nd minute Resurrección Diabólica Ψ were awarded a corner. Gaston Mendebal went to the cornerflag to take it. After 96 minutes of play, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Gabriel-Omar Lucifer made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Mateus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Resurrección Diabólica Ψ played a much better game than Teodelina FC and deserved their victory. The Teodelina FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
