Deportivo Mandiyu's Eulalio Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Ubarna in the 22nd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gervasio Lidon made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Ðura Snob got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 54th minute, Gervasio Lidon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sacro Balompié fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 59 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Lidon came free, but Eulalio Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Ubarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eulalio Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sacro Balompié eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
