With an extended leg and a bit of luck Próspero Friederichs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Próspero Friederichs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Arauz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ORION F.C. booed when AFC Richmond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Aburto didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Calderón in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFC Richmond's Esteban José Fonseca. Próspero Friederichs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Arauz in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Remicio Price was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Richmond's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ORION F.C. the free kick. Remicio Price kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC Richmond's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hakkı Deniz Tarhun was slow to take the kick. During this time ORION F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. ORION F.C.'s Hakkı Deniz Tarhun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Próspero Friederichs in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 24 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s goalkeeper Jonathan Treviño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Arostegui. In the 31st match minute, ORION F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Spadafora to maneuver through the defense. After 42 minutes, Remicio Price made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. ORION F.C.'s Jonathan Treviño tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Tolhauzsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Despite this Jonathan Treviño quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 60 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Aburto came free, but Jonathan Treviño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ORION F.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Hakkı Deniz Tarhun hit a great ball. AFC Richmond's Aníbal Marraccini was substituted for Fernando Tolhauzsen. Próspero Friederichs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luchito Gómez in the 67th minute. Jonathan Treviño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Marraccini in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Enrique Arostegui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Treviño was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Gilberto Spadafora hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Próspero Friederichs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franklin Agurto in the 78th minute. When Aníbal Marraccini fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. A very good chance. Luchito Gómez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. ORION F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jonathan Treviño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remicio Price in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Próspero Friederichs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franklin Agurto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Próspero Friederichs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ORION F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
