Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Armando Salto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Yépez Abrea came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ornopata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yépez Abrea couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Diagüita's Honorato Chauriye got a free kick in the 8th minute. Yépez Abrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eder Olaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Josué Fevre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Diagüita and the Ornopata players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Deportivo Diagüita getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Josué Fevre hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Armando Salto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eder Olaso. Armando Salto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Benito Babarovic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Requena was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Xosepe Iñigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Diagüita's goalkeeper Eder Olaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Salto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valerio Ampuero in the 31st minute of play forced Ornopata's goalkeeper Roberto Requena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Valerio Ampuero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ornopata's Roberto Requena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Diagüita's Eder Olaso got control of the ball when Zuriko Bernaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eder Olaso came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ornopata's Armando Salto. But to his dismay, Armando Salto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 45 played minutes Ornopata got a freekick which was hit by Armando Salto. 45 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Diagüita's Jose Maria Piña broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valerio Ampuero to make the kick off. Eder Olaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Inda, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Ornopata booed when Club Deportivo Diagüita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferrán Esteban didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valerio Ampuero in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Requena saved Ornopata from getting behind. Ornopata's Roberto Requena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valerio Ampuero in the 59th minute of play. Rogerio Logares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eder Olaso having to interfere. Eder Olaso came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ornopata's Armando Salto. But to his dismay, Armando Salto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Club Deportivo Diagüita's Eder Olaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuriko Bernaldo in the 67th minute of play. Eder Olaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Inda, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Eder Olaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yépez Abrea in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Tiro Dentrup cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Roberto Requena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eder Olaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Inda in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Armando Salto notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Club Deportivo Diagüita's Eder Olaso. Eder Olaso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eder Olaso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Salto went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Calle Inda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ornopata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. There was no doubt that Ornopata were the better team. Ornopata's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
