After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Zdzislaw Literski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's supporters rose to their feet, but Zdzislaw Literski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Orlando Hrabina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Literski in the 11th minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Hrabina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Olin Piper. In the 18th minute Cameron Cardona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Mazurkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Cameron Cardona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Stowe City's Olin Piper slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ladislao Mazurkiewicz. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. In the 27th minute, Braian Rodríguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Orlando Hrabina was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Hugo Orlando Hrabina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Literski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Pelayo Iracheta put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hugo Orlando Hrabina. Stowe City's Hugo Orlando Hrabina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdzislaw Literski in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Literski came free, but Hugo Orlando Hrabina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braian Rodríguez in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Orlando Hrabina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zdzislaw Literski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darell Frey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Hori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Hrabina made a huge save. Braian Rodríguez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hugo Orlando Hrabina firmly grabbed it by the left post. William Saliba hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zdzislaw Literski in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Orlando Hrabina saved Stowe City from getting behind. After having played for 87 minutes, Cameron Cardona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stowe City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cameron Cardona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Rhett Cox suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When William Saliba fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's protests and gave William Saliba a yellow card for diving instead. William Saliba hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
