The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Tango en Miami FC's Jacob Person got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carson McCann in the 5th minute of play forced POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Xaime Mañaria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Soyuncu Entero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Gary was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Soyuncu Entero charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Soyuncu Entero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tango en Miami FC booed when POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soyuncu Entero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chico Reiriz struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Paul Gary didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol. In the 18th minute, Carson McCann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xaime Mañaria was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Pegoraro La Penna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristopher Mansfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes, Patrice O'Neal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tango en Miami FC and the POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paul Gary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guerau Villaescusa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Tango en Miami FC got a freekick which was hit by Louie Arredondo. After 37 minutes, Jason Wiley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tango en Miami FC and the POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Tango en Miami FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Wiley to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guerau Villaescusa made a kick off. Kristopher Mansfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Kristopher Mansfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xaime Mañaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Xaime Mañaria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carson McCann in the 66th minute of play. If Guerau Villaescusa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristopher Mansfield in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xaime Mañaria saved POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol from getting behind. Paul Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soyuncu Entero in the 74th minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Soyuncu Entero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tango en Miami FC's Paul Gary was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guerau Villaescusa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Gary having to interfere. In the 81st minute Kristopher Mansfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xaime Mañaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guerau Villaescusa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Paul Gary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Esa Maleta hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Admon Cartagena got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Kristopher Mansfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xaime Mañaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esa Maleta in the 95th minute of play forced Tango en Miami FC's goalkeeper Paul Gary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
