If Horacio Barcaiztegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Horacio Barcaiztegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ximenes Barnechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaufred Parraga in the 9th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Christovao Haces to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Gaufred Parraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christovao Haces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dolcet Bevia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christovao Haces. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Larrangos to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Gaufred Parraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christovao Haces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inacio Trevijano in the 18th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Alianza Trujillo got a freekick which was hit by Oliveiro Urbiso. After 20 played minutes Alianza Trujillo got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Colunga. After 23 played minutes Alianza Trujillo got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Colunga. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Christovao Haces played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaufred Parraga in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaufred Parraga in the 30th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Christovao Haces to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christovao Haces came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Alianza Trujillo's Inacio Trevijano. But to his dismay, Inacio Trevijano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 38 played minutes Club Dep. Soc. Rodo got a freekick which was hit by Palos Ozaolaza. With a little luck, Alianza Trujillo's Ximenes Barnechea got control of the ball when Angelo Elvira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Horacio Barcaiztegui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ximenes Barnechea made a huge save. When Angelo Elvira fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's protests and gave Angelo Elvira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Dep. Soc. Rodo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Angelo Elvira hit a great ball. Angelo Elvira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximenes Barnechea having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaufred Parraga made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Manex Pajazo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo and the Alianza Trujillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Manex Pajazo got a free kick in the 51st minute. Ximenes Barnechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Elvira in the 55th minute of play. Christovao Haces showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egoitz Cejudo in the 59th minute of the match. Oliveiro Urbiso kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Alianza Trujillo made a substitution. Vellito Berges replaced Nicholas Colunga. In the 63rd minute, Oliveiro Urbiso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Horacio Barcaiztegui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Barcaiztegui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ximenes Barnechea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palos Ozaolaza to maneuver through the defense. Christovao Haces made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inacio Trevijano in the 69th minute. After taking down the ball on Alianza Trujillo's corner Dolcet Bevia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christovao Haces quite easily take care of the ball. Alianza Trujillo's Ximenes Barnechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palos Ozaolaza in the 72nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Horacio Barcaiztegui notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Alianza Trujillo's Ximenes Barnechea. Ximenes Barnechea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ximenes Barnechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Barcaiztegui in the 95th minute of the match. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
