Paulo Cabrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tin Santamaria went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lain Villela hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bohórquez Monsalve in the 10th minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Paulo Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gaston Castañeda hit a great ball. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Santutxo Casquete hit a great ball. Paulo Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Quizan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CANTERANOS DMS were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Club Olimpia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ysmael Golpe took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ysmael Golpe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulo Cabrera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. CANTERANOS DMS's Bohórquez Monsalve suffered a sore thigh after 16 minutes and couldn't finish the game. CANTERANOS DMS made a substitution. Camilo Henestrosa replaced Bohórquez Monsalve. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Olimpia! The supporters of CANTERANOS DMS booed when Club Olimpia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lain Villela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tin Santamaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moisés Anderica in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Cabrera saved Club Olimpia from getting behind. Moisés Anderica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Cabrera having to interfere. Club Olimpia's Paulo Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Henestrosa in the 37th minute of play. Paulo Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Anderica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Paulo Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tin Santamaria in the 54th minute of the match. Paulo Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Quizan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Club Olimpia's Lope Rugama seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lope Rugama the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Olimpia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lope Rugama had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Olimpia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, CANTERANOS DMS's Tin Santamaria got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Paulo Cabrera. After a defensive mix-up in Club Olimpia's zone, Ysmael Golpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Cabrera came out of the goal and Ysmael Golpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Gaston Castañeda got a free kick in the 75th minute. Paulo Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tin Santamaria in the 80th minute of the match. Ysmael Golpe kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Paulo Cabrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ysmael Golpe in the 92nd minute. Paulo Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Henestrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
