Oscar Federspiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horacio Barcaiztegui in the 3rd minute. Oscar Federspiel made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Horacio Barcaiztegui sent off a good shot on target. Christovao Haces took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bennie Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloi Fontanes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes, SAPRIMECKBEL's Ramon Mena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christovao Haces came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SAPRIMECKBEL reached it. Victor Thome hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Angelo Elvira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angelo Elvira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Federspiel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Angelo Elvira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Federspiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco Larrangos hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Oscar Federspiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Elvira, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Christovao Haces showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennie Nuñez in the 29th minute of the match. Palos Ozaolaza kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo booed when SAPRIMECKBEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Thome didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Barcaiztegui got free with Oscar Federspiel in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bennie Nuñez's late challenge caught a Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bennie Nuñez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Bennie Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Barcaiztegui in the 37th minute of play forced SAPRIMECKBEL's goalkeeper Oscar Federspiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club Dep. Soc. Rodo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Birjaio Masdeu hit a great ball. Ramon Mena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christovao Haces. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Barcaiztegui to make the kick off. SAPRIMECKBEL's Oscar Federspiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Elvira in the 53rd minute of play. Victor Thome struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Christovao Haces didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAPRIMECKBEL. In the 59th minute, Bennie Nuñez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SAPRIMECKBEL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 61 played minutes SAPRIMECKBEL got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Conejo. After 67 played minutes SAPRIMECKBEL got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Zamora. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Zamora in the 72nd minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Christovao Haces to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Ramon Mena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SAPRIMECKBEL's zone, Horacio Barcaiztegui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Federspiel came out of the goal and Horacio Barcaiztegui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SAPRIMECKBEL walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
