Christian Caldevilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Cronshagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pepe Fandoz charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pepe Fandoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Caldevilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trevor Gallegos's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepe Fandoz in the 25th minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Grigore Proca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Rolando Gostioz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Proca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Rey Cachurro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rey Cachurro to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Rolando Gostioz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grigore Proca was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When Pepe Fandoz came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the CORSARIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pepe Fandoz couldn't finish the play. Grigore Proca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rey Cachurro in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Rey Cachurro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grigore Proca was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Rey Cachurro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Phil Riggs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Recolta Alamor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CORSARIO the free kick. Recolta Alamor's Grigore Proca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Barricat in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Recolta Alamor getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Theron Creech hit a great ball. The supporters of CORSARIO booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theron Creech didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Recolta Alamor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CORSARIO:s goal. Grigore Proca had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Rolando Gostioz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Pepe Fandoz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, CORSARIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rey Cachurro to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to CORSARIO getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Vinicio Ilarraza hit a great ball. CORSARIO's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
