The referee ignored Golden Dragón F.C's protests and gave Joaquim Pereta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Golden Dragón F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Pereta to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Florin Quelia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Golden Dragón F.C's Florin Quelia got control of the ball when Eder Abella tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Pepsi Fuchibol Clu booed when Golden Dragón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaime Alamon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Pepsi Fuchibol Clu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Golden Dragón F.C were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eder Abella was the one to do the kick off. Osasun Rebenga kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Florin Quelia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eder Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Golden Dragón F.C's Gaitano Reza was substituted for Jatsu Belaunde. A collision led to Pepsi Fuchibol Clu getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jorge Abar hit a great ball. Florin Quelia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 69th minute, Gaitano Reza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Mincho Abadia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's supporters rose to their feet, but Mincho Abadia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Quelia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florin Quelia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mincho Abadia in the 72nd minute of play. Orain Abendano made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Walme Labandera sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd match minute, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Abajas to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Walme Labandera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Dragón F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Golden Dragón F.C were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's much stronger midfield.
