Reed Molina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Pope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Yoshioka in the 32nd minute of the match. When C. A. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duncan Nichols made a kick off. A collision led to C. A. Pipon Pipon getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Freddie Henderson hit a great ball. Lamar Knapp struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Francisco Pope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ForestFire. Francisco Pope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Nichols in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when ForestFire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariah Barth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose José's shot from long distance in the 59th minute was not bad at all, but ForestFire's Reed Molina knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 64 minutes into the match, Phil Greene notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of C. A. Pipon Pipon's Francisco Pope. Francisco Pope was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69thth minute of the game Lamar Knapp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Pipon Pipon's Francisco Pope was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ForestFire were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after C. A. Pipon Pipon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Todd Mayes took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sal Chamberlain got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Francisco Pope quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Sal Chamberlain put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Francisco Pope. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Ramon Kern was substituted for Kelly Hopson. ForestFire's Reed Molina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save ForestFire from getting a goal against them. After 81 minutes ForestFire's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jose José who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Ramon Kern got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Francisco Pope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duncan Nichols, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Roman Britton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Pope having to interfere.
