Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureo Sandoval to make the kick off. After 68 minutes, Ubaldo Matildo Klein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Navalito and the Deportivo Popolizio FBC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute Aureo Sandoval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artizar Melic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 91 in the game by Loreno Acharan from a close distance when the talented Artizar Melic managed to make a qualified save. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's players were relieved. 94 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Elodio Heras came free, but Juan Ignacio Grove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Baltazar Castelblanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artizar Melic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Navalito eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
