An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeerasit Mnimoung in the 31st minute of play forced DongFeng Honda FC's goalkeeper 狄迪洲 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adisai Yotarit hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as DongFeng Honda FC's 麦瑜轩 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tawan Limnapapawan. That made the score 2-1 after 42 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 洪彬林 to make the kick off. Jeerasit Mnimoung got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-2 in the right cross in the 52nd match minute before 狄迪洲 had time to react. DongFeng Honda FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Jarun Chaivong scored to the left of an out of position 狄迪洲, making the score, 3-5. The Hua Hin City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hua Hin City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
