Özal Erbay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hurşit Tamerk got free with Ulu Hayat in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oğuzalp Nurbaki took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özal Erbay. Özal Erbay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's Hamza Kurumer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Özal Erbay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. KOO Tigers's Özal Erbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erol Onal in the 14th minute of play. Arda Ozan Sökmensu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Tarık Yalgın hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Oğuzalp Nurbaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özal Erbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, KOO Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzalp Nurbaki came free, but Özal Erbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, KOO Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzalp Nurbaki came free, but Özal Erbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Halis Songurhan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. After a rather tough play, KOO Tigers's Arda Ozan Sökmensu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Alberto Bomba scored 0-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özal Erbay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Basmane Texas were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulvi Saffet was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Bomba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özal Erbay having to interfere. In the 59th play minute Oğuzalp Nurbaki came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Özal Erbay. 0-5. After a rather tough play, KOO Tigers's Yaşar Tuğbay got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in KOO Tigers's zone, Oğuzalp Nurbaki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özal Erbay came out of the goal and Oğuzalp Nurbaki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to KOO Tigers getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Yaşar Tuğbay hit a great ball. Oğuzalp Nurbaki came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Özal Erbay could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oğuzalp Nurbaki in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Özal Erbay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oğuzalp Nurbaki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Özal Erbay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Özal Erbay was a little too slow when Alberto Bomba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-6. Basmane Texas's Kaplan Şerif was substituted for Alberto Bomba. Özal Erbay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Halis Songurhan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 82 minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Basmane Texas's Oğuzalp Nurbaki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Özal Erbay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. 88 minutes into the match, KOO Tigers's goalkeeper Özal Erbay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oğuzalp Nurbaki. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oğuzalp Nurbaki got free with Özal Erbay in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaplan Şerif in the 93rd minute of play forced KOO Tigers's goalkeeper Özal Erbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Basmane Texas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KOO Tigers throughout the match.
