The shot was a little too simple and Berkan Yılkan could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ata Şenalp in the 18th minute of play forced Machu Picchu's goalkeeper Necmettin Bektaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vedat Acaralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Berkan Yılkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aydın Ustaoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of 1903 Barranspor ☪ booed when Machu Picchu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vedat Acaralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Necmettin Bektaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Efe Ihlamur in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Ata Şenalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Necmettin Bektaş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Berkan Yılkan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aydın Ustaoğlu went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Berkan Yılkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Resulhan Oğurata in the 43rd minute of play. When Kemal Özdilek fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1903 Barranspor ☪'s protests and gave Kemal Özdilek a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Machu Picchu booed when 1903 Barranspor ☪ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kemal Özdilek didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ata Şenalp to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Bahadır Ergüleç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machu Picchu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bahadır Ergüleç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Resulhan Oğurata took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berkan Yılkan. Berkan Yılkan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 60 minutes into the game, Mehmet Efe Ihlamur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1903 Barranspor ☪'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Machu Picchu the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in 1903 Barranspor ☪'s zone, Ali Galip Kurhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berkan Yılkan came out of the goal and Ali Galip Kurhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 minutes of play, Machu Picchu's Resulhan Oğurata made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berkan Yılkan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ata Şenalp charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ata Şenalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Machu Picchu booed when 1903 Barranspor ☪ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ata Şenalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to 1903 Barranspor ☪ getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Kandemir Taib hit a great ball. Kemal Özdilek hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Kandemir Taib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes, Machu Picchu's Ali Galip Kurhan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Berkan Yılkan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
