The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gencalp Özdurdu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nadir Hallaçoğlu having to interfere. The supporters of A T A B E Y - Fener45 booed when H E P T A N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ufuk Ersal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th match minute, A T A B E Y - Fener45 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Oğuz Yildıran to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Uygur Kutcan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With 14 minutes on the clock, Işıkalp Birsoy commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, H E P T A N's Ferdi Teren got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute Oğuzhan Mesut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vehdi Rıfkı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korcan Tansan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oğuzkan Kose kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, A T A B E Y - Fener45 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tacettin İltan to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes of play, A T A B E Y - Fener45's Hüsrev Keyhüsrev made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nadir Hallaçoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Hüsrev Keyhüsrev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erdinç Yazıcı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nadir Hallaçoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Korcan Tansan was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Vehdi Rıfkı managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when H E P T A N's Oğuzkan Kose fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 69th match minute, A T A B E Y - Fener45 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Oğuz Yildıran to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Oğuzkan Kose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vehdi Rıfkı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
