Gudhem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carl Soned was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Hogans Heroes booed when Gudhem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Dahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Tomasson in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Gudhem defense, Carl Soned kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sverker Lindgren. The Gudhem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sverker Lindgren should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Sune Fredriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hogans Heroes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Billy Dahlberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren got control of the ball when Sune Fredriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bo-Erik Söder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Torsten Nordström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johnny Hultin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Billy Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sverker Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Duset in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Johnny Hultin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sune Fredriksson took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Lindgren. Sverker Lindgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Gudhem's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Calle Kjellkvist scored to the left of an out of position Sverker Lindgren, making the score, 0-5. Elias Askestät kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Gudhem from getting a goal against them. Sverker Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Duset in the 84th minute. Sverker Lindgren made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Calle Kjellkvist sent off a good shot on target.
