When Ture Torsberg fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Patric Eliasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Pilblad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilbert Kleen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilbert Kleen took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Pilblad. Marcus Pilblad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Cash Is King's Jan-Ove Vinström got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Jon Östlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Kleen in the 68th minute of play forced Cash Is King's goalkeeper Marcus Pilblad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cash Is King's Marcus Pilblad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Fernkvist in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Hans Holm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcus Pilblad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Allan Björkkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Marcus Pilblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Modig in the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Ove Modig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marcus Pilblad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 91 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Nyberg. Hans Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kingpins fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cash Is King had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
