Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rasmus Gummeson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Niklas Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Wallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Rasmus Gummeson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hartlepool's Niklas Jonasson. Niklas Jonasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Niklas Jonasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rasmus Gummeson went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Pihl United getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Birger Löfgren hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Gösta Björkdahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Oskar Tunström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 23rd minute of the match Karl-Johan Billock sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niklas Jonasson skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Rasmus Gummeson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niklas Jonasson was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Gösta Björkdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Jonasson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Gummeson in the 28th minute of play forced Hartlepool's goalkeeper Niklas Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Johan Billock hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Hartlepool's Ulrik Holm shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hjalmar Lind but with some difficulty. A collision led to Pihl United getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gösta Björkdahl hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Pihl United's Elliot Malmgren got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Thomas Helberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hjalmar Lind. Pihl United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Helberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bo Ahlin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hartlepool getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bo Ahlin hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Pihl United's Rasmus Gummeson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niklas Jonasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Gösta Björkdahl took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Niklas Jonasson to make any attempt to save it. When Pihl United's Rasmus Gummeson in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hartlepool's goalie prevented a goal. Oskar Tunström charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oskar Tunström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Hartlepool got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Tunström. After 71 minutes of play, Pihl United's Rasmus Gummeson made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niklas Jonasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Niklas Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasmus Gummeson in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Gummeson in the 82nd minute of play forced Hartlepool's goalkeeper Niklas Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Hartlepool's Thomas Helberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hjalmar Lind made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Tony Wallin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-5 in the 87th playminute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pihl United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
