Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) IFK Kik's Patrik Myr started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Allan Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Myr in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Matthias Skog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Botvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilhelm Martinsson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Håkan Botvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Erik Olsman in the 9th minute of play. Allan Backman came out of the goal and Vilhelm Martinsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 played minutes IFK Kik got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Blomberg. Vilhelm Asserlind in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Håkan Botvidsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Erik Olsman in the 32nd minute of play forced IFK Kik's goalkeeper Håkan Botvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Lund in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of IFK Kik booed when Tidans P92 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Skog didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Vilhelm Asserlind made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Tidans P92 got a freekick which was hit by Axel Heggert. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Kik's zone, Vilhelm Asserlind stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Botvidsson came out of the goal and Vilhelm Asserlind tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Vilhelm Asserlind managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tidans P92's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilhelm Asserlind was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Håkan Botvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Håkan Botvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Asserlind in the 56th minute of the match. Håkan Botvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilhelm Asserlind in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Fredrik Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Kik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Lund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthias Skog kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Patrik Myr succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 73rd playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Asserlind in the 76th minute of play forced IFK Kik's goalkeeper Håkan Botvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Backman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrik Myr went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. IFK Kik's Håkan Botvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Asserlind in the 90th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. IFK Kik walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
